When Should I Go To Urgent Care vs. the Emergency Room?

Knowing where to go in a health emergency will help you get the best treatment possible. Barton Urgent Care, located in Stateline, NV just across the California-Nevada border in South Lake Tahoe, offers some of the same services as the Emergency Department at Barton Memorial Hospital, such as X-rays and blood testing. However, Urgent Care does not treat life-threatening conditions. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1.

If you need treatment right away for a less serious issue, Barton Urgent Care may be your best bet.
