New HR Director Brings Tools and Passion to Help Barton Health Employees Succeed
South Lake Tahoe, CA – Barton Health has hired seasoned human resources leader Elizabeth Stork as their new Human Resources Director.
“We are pleased to have Elizabeth on board,” said Dr. Clint Purvance, Barton Health’s CEO and President. “She brings both the tools and passion for helping our employees deliver consistently exceptional care and reach their full potential.”
Stork has more than 15 years of experience working in human resources. She most recently served as the Vice President of Human Resources for a non-profit home health and hospice agency in Washington State.
“I approach human resources as a service department to all employees and supervisors,” said Stork. “When the human resource team serves all employees with respect, care, and compassion, this helps to develop positive attitudes and high morale across an organization.”
Stork was born and raised in Southern California. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from University of Washington and a master’s in Business Administration from Washington State University. She has been married to Kirk Stork for 26 years and her son and daughter-in-law live in the Bay Area. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, swimming, scuba diving, hiking, and skiing.
