Restore Your Body

Take care of your body to keep active - learn how to restore muscles properly, get a massage, use a hot/cold pool, or try acupuncture.

  1. Be aware of how your body is feeling and how it is moving with a quick 5-minute body scan with mindful breathing and a few simple yoga poses.
  2. Are joints and movements stiff? Try foam rolling the muscles around that area for 3 minutes and follow up with some gentle stretching.
  3. Are muscles sore and feeling low on energy? Try improving circulation with hot/cold plunges or try acupuncture.
  4. Balance your activities in terms of how long or hard you go and how many consecutive days you are active. Always listen to your body.
  5. Be sure to eat well and hydrate after your activity.
